Bourbon, vodka, or tequila would all be great. If you are going to mix alcohol into this drink, the options are endless. Its easy Just muddle through it Or, you can make traditional mint juleps. Having a delicious drink like this mint julep lemonade at the bar means that people can add alcohol if they want, or enjoy it by itself. Enjoy this non-alcoholic julep made with ginger ale and fresh blackberries. When you’re hosting a party, it’s important to keep in mind that not everyone drinks alcohol or will want to drink alcohol for the entire event. The wedding and reception were at a winery and it was a bummer to be missing out on the delicious beverages, but then I saw that lavender lemonade (non-alcoholic) was an option for me at the bar! It was such a nice surprise to have such a delicious drink available to me when I was expecting a bar full of beer, wine, and cocktails. When I was pregnant with Easton, I attended the wedding of some good friends of mine. The mint is super subtle if you want more of a minty flavor you can muddle additional mint leaves into the drink. 1 ounce apple cider vinegar 1 ounce molasses or sorghum 4 black tea bags 26 ounces water 2 ounces lemon juice 4 ounces simple syrup 6 mint leaves plus. I’ve always thought it would be fun to have a Kentucky Derby party, but maybe next year since Kevin will be working this weekend.
